Sunset Token Update
Greetings dear community! In the sequence of the attendance of the #Sunset team to #BTL (Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa | Travel Market) we hereby come to give you an insight of what happened at the event. The following post is formed by many parts, so make sure you don’t miss any!
This year’s edition of #BTL counted, as usual, with the participation of industry professionals of many different sectors, of both national and international scenarios, and as much as we’d like to speak with all of them, that is simply not achievable (at least not in 3 days!)
Since our main goals were to promote #Sunset, networking and access potential #partnerships, we tried to reach out to as many of them as possible
Hotels (a lot of them!), airline companies, GDS companies such as @Amadeus and Travelport, one of the OTA giants:@Expedia! (sadly @Booking.com which has a higher presence in Europe didn’t attend this year), software #development companies, amongst others.
The overall perspective of what this event brought us and that we’d like to share with you is that:
The feedback received was overwhelmingly positive!
Sunset was the only project using blockchain technology to bring innovation to the industry — what we’re developing is unique! And if we’re being honest here, that is both exciting and scary at the same time!
We’re well aware of the responsibility that lies upon us, and we’ll give our very best to fulfill your expectations and ours alike.
Although we’re unique, many of the software #development companies share the same mission of achieving decentralization and eliminating unnecessary middlemen (OTA)!
A few software #development companies have shown further interest in learning more about #Sunset and evaluate potential #partnerships. We’ll be in touch! This is as much as we can reveal, for now, but you can expect to read more details about this in the upcoming months!
We came out of this event with the feeling of mission acomplished as we achieved all of our main goals! We’re more motivated than ever and… expect more news announcements coming soon! Best regards!
